Our Dental Services
Annual dental checkups are recommended for all cats and dogs. At your pet’s dental visit, Dr. Sherri or her staff will perform a thorough cleaning, polishing, and fluoride treatment. Your pet's mouth will be examined for anything out of the ordinary. She will advise you as to any further intervention (such as extractions or oral surgery) that may be necessary and can give you tips on how to take care of your pet’s teeth between dental visits.
Our Surgical Services
If your pet requires surgery, or if you elect to have your pet spayed or neutered, Dr Sherri or her staff will explain the procedure in detail and answer any questions you might have. Your pet will be carefully monitored before, during, and after any procedure. All sedatives and anesthesia will be tailored to your pet’s individual needs. You will receive a call when your pet has recovered. Dr. Sherri or her staff will explain your pet’s recovery process and discuss any post-op home care that might be needed.
Our surgical services include:
Spaying and Neutering — We do recommend spaying female pets and neutering male pets to help control the pet population and to reduce your pet’s chances of contracting certain diseases and cancers.
Soft Tissue Surgery — Soft tissue surgeries are procedures that in general do not involve bone or joints. Examples include tumor and mass removal, laceration repair, amputations, and abdominal procedures.
Dental Surgery — This includes but is not limited to tooth extractions, mass removal, and foreign body removal.
If your pet needs orthopedic surgery to repair a fracture, Dr. Sherri will provide you with options for a board certified orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Sherri performs all surgeries in a clean surgical suite using top-quality equipment. We will do our best to minimize your pet’s discomfort before, during, and after any procedure.
